Mother's Day Sipper's

We think these wines will pair perfectly with your Picnic charcuterie box!

Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2019

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc from Keremeos and Semillon from Oliver— this wine has aromas of gooseberry, lychee, lemongrass, and cantaloupe, with juicy flavours of honey and tropical fruits. It has a long, crisp dry finish and pairs with rich seafood and shellfish, creamy pasta, savoury citrus sauces or sweet lemon tarts.

Contact Pinot Gris 2019

Partially barrel-fermented, this wine has notes of red fruit, strawberry and cherry, with a smooth and buttery finish. It is very versatile, off-dry with a slight pink hue, and pairs wonderfully with charcuterie, smoked salmon, prosciutto and melon, or even a traditional holiday feast!

Back Forty Bubbles

A perfect blend of estate Pinot Gris and Schonburger made in a prosecco style. A refreshing patio sipper, this wine pairs perfectly with light desserts like vanilla sponge cake or traditional cheesecake, but also is excellent with soft cheeses, fresh fruit, and Mimosas!

Sara’s Reserve 2019

Sara’s Reserve Schönburger provides bold floral notes with buttery tropical fruit flavours. The skins of the grapes provide a rich colour and intense palate, while a barrel fermentation builds the aromas of lychee and spring flowers, plus a full-body, creamy texture, and long finish. Serve this wine with fresh cheese, fruit salad and artisan bread, or a firm white fish such as halibut or sable fish with roasted spring vegetables.

Chardonnay 2017

This award-winning Chardonnay has aromas of butterscotch, citrus and caramel. On the palate is a viscous, dry oakiness that will keep you coming back for more. Full-bodied and smooth, this wine complements sharp cheeses, game birds and lemon-infused seafood, and is so pleasantly rich, you can even have it with a steak!

Back Forty 2018

This is a blend of our Estate grapes—Schönburger, Perle de Csaba and Pinot Gris. It is lightly off-dry and combines the lychee and spice notes from Schonburger with floral and honey-driven flavours from the Perle de Csaba. A drier version than 2017, this refreshing wine is great for the patio, served with appetizers, or as a dinner pairing with seafood entrees like seared scallops with mango salsa.

Gewurztraminer 2018

Classic aromas of lychee, rosewater and jasmine with subtle spice notes of clove and white pepper. Pleasantly floral on the palate with a lightly off-dry and extended finish. This wine pairs nicely with pork chops or seafood, and is a great accompaniment for spicy Asian cuisine.

Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2016

A winery favourite! This 2016 reserve vintage was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the Golden Mile, Oliver. With ripe black fruit, substantial tannins, and smooth texture—it’s big, bold, and memorable. The complex fruit aromas, a hint of spice and long finish are why this was a reserve bottling. Enjoy!

Beso Dulce Red 2017

This year’s vintage is made from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah which gives savoury aromas of chocolate, coffee, and dried fruit. Made intentionally to be approachable young, it is soft on the palate and one of the smoothest red wines you’ll ever drink. The ripe red fruit and a hint of sweetness balance the soft tannins which makes it easy to pair; from mushroom ratatouille to a grilled steak, this versatile wine goes with almost anything—try it on its own or with bbq ribs, pasta, burgers, and pizza!

Hot Pursuit 2016

This vintage has a rich texture, full body and smooth tannins with strong red and black fruit flavours. Find deep berry and peppery aromas with a touch of soft oak on the palate. Both Hot Pursuit vintages serve as wonderful dinner wines or as pairings with charcuterie and hearty appetizers.

Merlot Reserve

This reserve wine has a dark ruby colour with aromas of black cherries, leather, dark chocolate and violet flowers. The complex flavours of cassis, blackberry, plum and leather are complemented by rich tannins and a long, smooth finish. Pair this wine with steak or a prime rib dinner with Yorkshire pudding and wild mushroom gravy, or a vegetarian feast like chickpeas and roasted vegetables with couscous. While delicious now, this wine will also age well and continue to delight in years to come.

Cabernet Franc 2017. This red wine has aromas of cassis, bell pepper, leather and a hint of toasted oak. With notes of red currant, cranberry and anise on the palate, this wine finishes with well-balanced acidity and medium tannins.

This new Pinot Noir 2018 vintage has a clean, soft and balanced flavour with delicate tannins and luscious, sweet fruit. This wine includes aromas of dark ripe cherries and forest floor, with combined characteristics of sweet spice, vanilla, and toasted oak. With rich flavours of berry compote and a long finish, this vintage is an excellent pair for chicken cordon bleu or stir-fried prawns and veggies.
